JM: Did you have regular access to telephones?
Guero 1: yes ever day unles it was security override
Jim: at times....mostly, yes.
JM: What types of charges applied for calling people? How much money would you guess the average inmate spends per week on phone calls?
Guero 1: well over three months my friends mom owed 100
dollars just for my calls
Jim: it was very exspensive
JM: Did you need to buy phone cards to call out?
Guero 1: noy unless you call mexico
Jim: no, collect
JM: Did the jail screen your calls?
Guero 1: every single one, so they say
Jim: yes

My son has called my from jail, but have not heard from him in awhile. There was a number 602-542-0006 on my caller Id. Are they checking out my number. I was not home. So will they block calls from the jail coming here?

That same number called me today too. The man asked me my name and then hung up. My child's dad is in the Arizona state prison. So I am not sure if they were checking my number or what either.

This phone system doesn't sound rite. you have to set up to accounts one with this company and then the other with PIMA COUNTY JAIL! It seems like you are going to be beat some where in the process.

What buttons do you push to get the call, I tried like three times and some how it still gets disconnected=[

i just wanted to ask a few questions what time do they cut off phone calls and what time is lights out

the phones are cut off at 10 pm and any time they lock down or someone fight or during the jail bringing in inmates. $5.40 cents every 5 minutes you talk!

Well I've been wanting to get ahold of my boyfriend. He called me once but it cost around $72.00 for 12 minutes. Where do I go to pre-pay minutes so it's cheaper?
